Network

Full Tilt Poker is one of the brand names of online poker. In early 2025, Full Tilt, along with Pokerstars, were temporarily shut down for servicing US players. Pokerstars paid out over $100 million to reimburse US player balances. In mid 2025, Pokerstars was able to come to an agreement to purchase Full Tilt Poker for $731 million, $184 million of which, was to reimburse US player balances. Since this, Full Tilt has been owned and managed by Pokerstars, who, as many know, is the largest and one of the most trusted names in online poker.

Software

Many people consider Full Tilt’s software to be the best around. The lobby is very well organized, allowing players to quickly and easily find the games of their choosing. Unlike other poker clients, the Full Tilt software has no lag, is extremely fluid and devoid of annoying glitches. It feels like professionally made software.

At the tables, players can choose from playful avatars such as a rock, gecko, monkey, ninja, wizard and numerous different persons. Players are given the option to right-click on their avatar and select different emotions such as happy, shocked, sad and angry. Full Tilt isn’t going for quasi-realism like other sites, but the graphics are definitely fun and lively.

Full Tilt has always been one of the easier clients to customize to one’s liking. It is entirely possible to modify the cards, backgrounds, sounds and more. There are even websites that offer free modifications for download.

Promotions and Bonuses

Full Tilt will match your first three deposits up to a maximum bonus of $600.

They give new depositors 10 free entries to their exclusive First Deposit Freeroll Series. Each coupon can used to play in their $5,000 First Deposit Freerolls which run twice every Sunday. Players will be playing against other first-time depositors in competition for their share of the prize pool. New players also get a free tournament ticket. The ticket is redeemable for any Sit & Go or Multi-Table Tournament with a entry cost of $2.25.

Tournaments

Full Tilt’s position as 2nd place in overall traffic worldwide allows them to offer tournaments of all different buy-ins and prize pools at all times of the day. Their most popular guaranteed tournaments are:

  • The Doubles

In these tournaments, players compete for their share of the prize pool and a share of the progressive jackpot.

  • 1UP Multi-Entry Tournaments

These tournaments allow players to register up to 4 multiple entries. Player entries will merge together, creating a single entry with a combined chip stack, whenever a player has more entries than there are tables. Extra prizes are awarded for merging entries.

  • Big Money Sundays

On Sunday, Full Tilt offers some of their biggest tournaments. The 350K Guarantee, where players are allowed to re-register twice if they are knocked out before the late registration period is up. The Sunday Brawl featuring a 200K Guarantee and a $40 bounty awarded for each player one knocks out of the tournament. The final tournament of Big Money Sunday, is The Sunday Mulligan, this tournament has a 75K Guarantee.

Special Offers

Full Tilt was the first site to offer fast-fold games, they named this creation, Rush Poker. Since this game was created, there have been many copycats but the original still remains the best. Rush Poker puts all the players at the same buy-in level and game into a giant player pool. Unlike regular ring games, when a player finishes a hand at Rush Poker they can Quick Fold and are instantly taken to a new table and dealt a new hand. Players can Quick Fold anytime they are not in the big blind or facing a bet. Playing Rush Poker can allow a player to see four times as many hands as they would at a regular table.

Traffic

Full Tilt is the 2nd largest online poker network in the world, beating out Party Poker who ranks solidly in 3rd place. Full Tilt sees a 24-hours peak of a little over 5,900 cash game players.

Player Competition

The competition at this site is less difficult than at other major networks. It is about the same as Pokerstars, although easier than iPoker or Party.

Blocked Countries

Due to US law, people residing in the United States cannot play on Full Tilt.
