About bwin Poker
The bwin poker site is part of the Party Poker network. They were previously on the Ongame network but in early 2025, Bwin merged with Party Poker. As a result of this change, their players have access to a larger player pool and all the games available on the Party network. The Bwin software client received an upgrade and players have access to exclusive Party features such as FastForward.
Software
Bwin poker software is available for both Windows and Mac users. They also have a mobile client that is compatible with most popular cell phones today, including Android and iPhones. For Linux users they have a web client that does not require anything to be downloaded.
The Bwin poker client features a smooth black background and a layout that is easy to maneuver. There is a Quick Seat option where players select what type of game they are looking for and the software will automatically find a seat. Players have a choice between 2D graphics with simple picture avatars and 3D graphics with realistic looking players. 2D graphics would be recommended for players that like to play a large amount of tables.
Deposit Bonus
Bwin offers a 100% deposit bonus up to $500.
Loyalty Program
Bwin’s loyalty system rewards players with Market Points and Status Points. Both Market and Status Points are awarded anytime a player plays real-money stakes and pays entry fees for tournaments or rake at cash games.
Market Points can be redeemed for items, bonuses and raffle tickets.
Earning Status Points is how a player progresses from Green status, where all players start at, to White status and finally, Yellow status. Reaching a higher status gives a player access to exclusive product offers, cash bonuses, promotions, discount products and raffles.
Promotions & Tournaments
Bwin offers new players a 30 day period to play in the daily qualifier tournaments for the Weekly Bankroll Booster without having to earn Poker Points. This weekly tournament is run on Sundays and has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is open to all players that win seats in the qualifier tournaments.
Bwin also offers qualifier tournaments to give players a chance to win a seat to play in their weekly $300K Guaranteed Sunday tournament. This tournament runs every Sunday except when their monthly $1,000,000 Guaranteed tournament, The Million, runs on a Sunday! The Million has a buy-in price of $640, although a chance to win a seat in the qualifier tournaments can be as cheap as $1 or 10 Poker Points.
For players that prefer to play Sit & Gos (SNGs), Bwin offers their 6 step, 10-man SNG challenge. Players start at the 1st step, buying in for $3, a select number of players move on to the 2nd step tournament which awards a select number of players a ticket to play in the 3rd step tournament. Players advance through the steps until they reach the 6th and final step tournament where they are competing for a $2,000 1st place prize!
Exclusive Features
Bwin’s new style of cash games, titled, FastForward Poker is a turbo-charged, fast pace twist on traditional poker. When a player buys in at a FastForward Poker table they are seated in the action and dealt a hand. As soon as the hand ends the player is dealt a new hand and placed at a new table with a different set of players. Any time in the hand that a player is facing a bet, the ForwardFold button appears. Clicking this button instantly folds the hand and the player is dealt a new hand without having to wait for the current hand to end. However, if one would like to watch the current hand to completion, clicking the "Watch On Fold" button will allow the player to watch the hand until it ends.
Competition & Traffic
The competition on Bwin is fairly easy compared to other major poker networks like Pokerstars and iPoker. According to pokerscout, Bwin’s cash game traffic peaks at a little over 6,400 players in a 24-hour period.
