About Bodog Poker Network

Bodog began offering poker in 2025. They already had been having great success offering sportsbetting and casino gaming. Their headquarters is located in London, UK, the Bodog Poker Network is founded by Calvin Ayre.

Software

Their software is well-polished and sleek. The software is not too hardware intensive and should be able to run on the almost every PC out there with no problems. Players have 2D avatars and the background can be customized to the player’s color of choice.

Deposit Bonus and Promotions

Bodog offers a 100% deposit bonus that they will match up to $1,000. Bodog’s terms are that they will let you claim the bonus on the total deposit that you make on your first day. If you where to make two $300 deposits, then you would be eligible for a $600 bonus.

In addition to the deposit bonus, Bodog offers a few other promotions.

They have the Bad Beat Jackpot (BBJ). According to their site, you hit the BBJ "If you have a Full House with aces full of kings (or better) and you lose to Four of a Kind or better.” The BBJ pays out “100 times the big blind to a maximum of $1,000."

They have the Royal Flush Bonus. They will pay out 50 times the big blind if a player makes a Royal Flush using both of their hole cards at a Texas Hold’em Table with 3 or more players dealt in and takes the hand to showdown.

Tournaments

Bodog offers their new poker players the option to try to win a seat to their Sunday 100K Guaranteed Tournament. They give new players 6 opportunities, 3 per week, to play in exclusive freerolls that reward the winners with the option to play the 100K Guaranteed.

Bodog also offers their players the option to buy in to their 15K freerolls which are offered twice a month. These tournaments can be played by either winning a ticket in the freerolls offered or buying in for poker points, which are earned by playing at the tables.

Unique Features

One interesting feature about Bodog, is that their tables are anonymous. When one buys in at a table, they are assigned a random number instead of displaying a screen-name. This is done in order to ensure that the games are fair and no one can have any advantage over another player.

Game Quality and Traffic

The game quality on Bodog is excellent. The difficulty of their cash games and tournaments is extremely easy when compared to other major poker networks. A major reason for this is their anonymous tables, which prevents "sharks" from preying on "fish". Bodog also does not allow the use of HUDs and they allow players to play a maximum of 4 tables at a time. These choices are a part of Bodog’s philosophy that making games fair and promoting a fun environment are crucial to the success of a poker room.

According to pokerscout, they have about 2600 players at their 24-hour peak. Their traffic ranks them in 10th place, behind industry giants such as, Pokerstars, Full Tilt and iPoker. There should be no trouble finding a game at micro, small and medium stakes at any time of the day.

Restricted Countries

Bodog does not offer their services to USA players. USA players that want to play on the Bodog Poker Network can play on Bovada, a subsidiary company of the Bodog Poker Network.
